Connect WhatsApp (Cloud API)

Yuvix API uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform Cloud API with credentials you own. You'll need a Meta Business portfolio and a phone number that isn't registered to the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app (or one you migrate).

1. Create a Meta app

1. At developers.facebook.com, create an app of type Business and add the WhatsApp product.
2. In WhatsApp → API Setup, add and verify your business phone number.
3. Copy the Phone number ID and the WhatsApp Business Account ID.

2. Create a permanent access token

1. In Meta Business Settings, create a System User and assign it your app and WhatsApp account.
2. Generate a token with the whatsapp_business_messaging and whatsapp_business_management permissions.
3. Copy your App secret from App settings → Basic. It's used to verify webhook signatures.

3. Save credentials in Yuvix API

Open Settings → WhatsApp, paste the phone number ID, WABA ID, access token and app secret, and choose a verify token. Secrets are encrypted and never shown again. Click Test connection.

4. Configure the webhook in Meta

1. In WhatsApp → Configuration, set the callback URL shown on your Settings page — it looks like https://your-domain/api/webhooks/whatsapp/<workspace-key>.
2. Enter the same verify token and click Verify and save.
3. Subscribe to the messages webhook field (this delivers inbound messages and status updates).

5. Sync templates

Create templates in WhatsApp Manager, wait for approval, then click Sync templates. Only APPROVED templates can be used in campaigns and follow-ups.

Messaging rules to know

• 24-hour window: free-form messages are allowed only within 24 hours of the customer's last message. Outside it, use a template.
• Messaging limits & quality: Meta controls how many unique customers your number can message per day and may lower limits if quality drops.
• Pricing: Meta bills template messages directly to your WhatsApp Business Account.
